Resolutions 2010

The following items are part of my resolutions for the coming year. Changes may be made from time to time. Don’t worry, it is will only be additions to the list. I cannot think all at the same time.

Workspace Management

My workspace management is poor. For years, my table is more of less my storage area for my notes and textbooks, the functionality which my cupboards and bookshelves are supposedly for. However, a table’s use is not for that, but for people to study or work on something.

So for starters:

Have as little things placed or decorating the table as possible.

Too many items will make the table looks cluttered and harder to clean at the end of every week. Clear out or rotate the items, if I will have to, instead of piling them on my table.

Clean the workspace area at least once a week.

My house gets dusty very fast. Without feeling being clean, I would not use the table. Thus, there is a need to get the table wiped, bookshelves dusted and floor mopped.

Personal Management

For the past two years, I have being putting on the pounds. And without doubt, weight loss is on the top of my mind.

Fitness

Unfortunately, I do not like to watch what I eat. So instead, my main form of losing weight is to exercise. A bonus out of this: losing all that I have gained in the past two years.

  1. Hit the gym at least once a week.
  2. Swim laps at the swimming pool at least twice a week.
  3. Pound the pavement at least three times a week.

Marathons

  1. Participate in the Standard Chartered Marathon. Just because it is at year end.
  2. Participate in the OCBC Cycle event.

Vision

Contact lens. I can only wear permanent lens. Ouch.

Transportation

Car

Get the god-damned driving license. Best if it is by before IĀ matriculateĀ into SMU.

Bicycle

Buy a bicycle. Best if I can get it before the OCBC Cycle event.
